Yoga is safe to practice after an injury as long as you rest when needed, stop as soon as you feel pain and create stability around the injury. However, Yoga should not be performed in a state of exhaustion, illness, in a hurry or in an acute stress condition.

If you are a beginner, you should start practicing yoga either in the presence of a yoga teacher or join a yoga class so that you learn the basics and the do’s and don’ts of yoga.
